One W-2 Still Missing

Darn it, this year I'm slated for a decent tax return and there's one place I worked that is just taking there sweet time getting me my darn W-2, hopefully, it'll come today. I've got plans for that money (there's some bills that are on their way to paid off and a college fund for my little sister in the workings). Not to mention Naka-Kon is coming and I wanna be able to enjoy myself. Unlike last year, when I had to shop like a rabid wolf in the vendor room since all I had was $50...

So, what's everyone planning to do when/if they get a refund?

The Obligatory Hello

There are a lot of things in life that aren't easy. Being a pagan in Kansas: not easy. Being a cosplaying otaku in a family of working class rednecks: not easy. Being a feminist in a Midwestern, male dominated household: not easy. Creating handmade goods that will sell but are still true to my vision: not easy. But turning to a bunch of strangers on the web and living out this cyber-life: very easy.

As glum as that all sounded, I'm optimistic. This blog is a place to document my artistic struggles, share life lessons, and recount the joys of my cosplaying, handcrafting, circle casting life. It will also serve as a ranting board and soap box when I feel the urge. (After all, this is my own vain little universe, the one thing in my life over which I have complete control). So welcome, readers. Let's laugh and cry together as one more person joins the blogging ranks.
